Mr Pryor takes on the world

Mr Lachlan Pryor 

Junior School is living by the motto ‘Hear us Roar in 2024′ by finding opportunities to support one another and celebrate our different passions.

As an elite sailor, Year 5 teacher Mr Pryor shared his love of sailing with some of our Year 5 students who were delighted to go to Double Bay to support him when he competed in the World 18ft Skiff Championships.

The girls made sails with good luck messages to wish him well, and Mr Pryor took some time to teach them more about sailing, enhancing their understanding of forces in action with his knowledge of aerodynamics through his sailing experience.
