Junior School Enrolment Update

It’s that time of year when we extend a huge welcome to the newest members of our Junior School – the girls and families who will be joining us next year.

Our incoming 2026 Kindergarten cohort have so far enjoyed four Orientation sessions, including a one-on-one session with a Learning Enhancement staff member to ascertain their learning style so as to best support them when they begin their foray into formal schooling. Meanwhile, our Kindergarten parents enjoyed opportunities to meet other new families whilst their daughters enjoyed a classroom experience, exploring and partaking in activities.

We also enjoyed a morning of perfect weather, refreshments and fun on Hedgehog Lawn for the 2026 Kindergarten Welcome Picnic. We welcomed so many of our new girls and their parents to this relaxed picnic providing opportunities to come together once again prior to the first day of school.

Links Day took place the following week with our incoming 2026 Year 1 to 6 girls arriving at Pymble to spend the day making links with current Pymble students and teachers as well as meeting other new girls also joining the College in 2026. New friendships were further cemented the following day at the Year 1 to 6 Welcome Picnic. It was another morning of perfect weather with the girls re-connecting with friends made the previous day, with many friendships also made between parents.

Families of new girls commencing in Years 1 to 6, will then come together again for Orientation Morning taking place the day before the first day of Term 1, 2026, with our Kindergarten families enjoying a catch up over tea and coffee after first day drop off.

Starting school or starting at a new school is an exciting yet nervous time for families. There is a lot to remember so our pre-commencement information is thoughtfully curated and conveniently compiled in a digital handbook. The handbook includes key staff names, co-curricular offerings, out of school hours care information, transport and meal options.

Our Kindergarten to Year 6 places are finalised with very limited places remaining in some year levels.  Please contact me directly if you would like to apply.

We are so excited for all that 2026 holds for our new students and their families.
On behalf of the Enrolments Team, thank you for considering Pymble.  We can’t wait to welcome you to our community.

In early 2026, attention will turn to our 2028 cohort. For families who have submitted an application for enrolment for Kindergarten to Year 6 and hold a provisional place for 2028, we will be commencing the enrolment interview process early next year and will be in contact soon to request updated information and outline next steps.

Still thinking of joining Pymble?

Choosing the right school for your daughter is one of the most important decisions you will make. My team is here to guide and support you every step of the way.

Here’s a quick overview of our Enrolment Process:

  1. Get to know Pymble – Book a tour of the College or request a prospectus. We’d love to meet you and answer your questions.
  2. Submit an Application – we recommend submitting an application as soon as you have made the decision to enrol at Pymble.
  3. Provisional Place Offer – If a place is available at the time of application, you may be offered a Provisional Place.
  4. Confirm your Intention to Proceed – For those holding a Provisional Place, around two years prior to commencement, we’ll invite you to confirm your interest and attend an interview.
  5. Enrolment Interview
  6. Accept a Confirmed Place Offer
  7. Orientation and Commencement

What is a Provisional Place?
Accepting a Provisional Place gives you peace of mind that a place is being held for your daughter. If a place is not immediately available, your daughter will join our waitlist. Please note that a Provisional Place does not guarantee a confirmed offer.  All students must attend an enrolment interview to be considered for a confirmed offer.

Students on the waitlist (without a Provisional Place) will only be invited to interview if places become available after the first round of interviews.
